I'm a Standout in Life
Yes! There is another Nuffnang party coming up very soon! It is the Standout With Tiger & Nuffnang Party, and in order to join this party, I need to crack my head and think how actually do I standout from the rest! Okay, how do I standout? I think I'm really someone very very typical. I cant think of anything that makes myself standout but I die die must think of something because I want to attend the party! :) I'll not miss any. Grrr!!! I think, I think I do standout a little in my physical appearance. When I go out with friends of my age, people thinks that I'm underage. I have a underage face! Or to sound a little more disgusting, I have a ![]() How does my blog Standout from the rest? I think my current blog is one random blog that is full of pictures and doodlings. And I guess that point will be taken too. You dont always see blogs full of random doodlings. ![]() Also, you dont see a lot of bloggers do this. Camwhoring with the timer then DOODLE; although I havent been doing that for a very long time because my tripod lost one of its legs. I love this set of pictures a lot! Once I get my tripod fix, I want to have another set of this :) I standout!! I actually do Standout! :) So what about the party? It's another party for the bloggers to mingle around and win more prizes! And my favourite part of the party is that we could dress up! I love dressing up; because I just cant do it during the normal days. However, the theme for this party is really wide. I need to squeeze more brain juice to think of one that will really make me standout. Perhaps having neon light sticks all over me. I think that'll help me :) Although I dont drink, but I have a feeling that this party sponsored by the Tigers will rock the night! So, join the bloggers now! I’m a Musicon Celebrity thanks to Maxis Broadband
Its time for PARTY again!!!!!!! :) ![]() The Nuffnang Music Bash '09 by Maxis Broadband. In order to get invited to the party, we need to dress up like any celebrity of our choices. The first one who came to my mind was Jolin Tsai. Haha. Out of no where but it is not easy to look like her almost immediately to get the pictures. First thing I need to do to impersonate her would be the pretty manicures, which I obviously dont have it now. So I changed a celeb. And now I'm.......................... ![]() KATY PERRY :) I dont have her type of clothes either but I have her ice cream!!! HAHAHA. Except that mine is shrinked ;p ![]() Please tell me I dint fail impersonating her in the picture. Besides posting picture of yourself impersonating the celeb, we also need to tell the Nuffies how you wish to be treated if you’re a celebrity. So, if I were a celebrity, I wish to have unlimited wardrobe and make up sponsors! :D I want to appear in public, or if can at home also, in different outfits and yet I do not need to spend on them then abandon them later. I have another little cousin whom I have yet to intro in my blog. She's the little sister of Ivan and Tammie. Her name is Kah Yee. Only 6 months old now. Because you are curious...
About my erm, work? Yes, you are curious. Haha. After I've graduated from Taylor's, most of you asked if I'm still studying or working already. My answer would be, "I'm working already.." Then, the next question would be, "As what?" I would paused. And sometimes I'll answer, housewife. Sometimes I'll say secret agent. Sometimes I'll answer, "It is complicated. I dont know how to explain" and skipped the topic. Haha. Its not really very complicated. It is erm. I'm just lazy to elaborate I guess. Haha. Okay, this is it. I hope these pictures and video can help me explain better! ![]() #01 Our first booth in The Mines Shopping Fair. ![]() #02 This is the crowd while business is going on! ![]() #03 These are our customers; in and behind the screen. ![]() #04 This is the raw product. ![]() #05 This is the place where the final product is stored in. The video! So, have you got the picture already? If you still have no idea, well, this is a new thing in Malaysia. I dont know how or what to call this in short but it is some sort of green screen technology that attaches your heads with the pre-recorded dancers' bodies and make them into one. Heads are usually made bigger than the bodies to make the people look funnier and cuter. Haha. Then, we'll produce your music videos and make them into a DVD for you! BUT HOW? It is really easy. I have to tell these at least 100 times per day. Firstly, choose the song you would love to be featured in. We have more than 20 songs for you to choose weh. Then, sit on the stools accordingly. Next, you will be wrapped up with our green cloths. Make sure you wrapped up everything except for your heads! Haha. Then, look into the TV screen in front of you, you'll see your head being attached to another body! SCARY-NYA! Hahaha. Once the music starts, dance together with the body. Try to follow the body so that your head wont lost contact with it. Remember lar to smile or sing while dancing. It'll look more convincing! Hehe. And that's it! Once the music stops, you're done with the video. Just walk forward to the counter and pay for the DVD. Then, go do your shopping and come back in 15 minutes to get your video. Haha. EASY RIGHT! Now you know what's happening! I'm working for Dance Idol. Haha. And these few weeks, I have been very tied up with work that's why I'm not updating my blog. I'm really sorry. I'll soon okay! The Record Book (Aiyoh)
I was packing my cupboard awhile ago and I found my record book. My primary and secondary's record book. The feeling was indescribable. I cant find a suitable word for it. Haha. It was something that I never liked but it is now something I treasure. How many of you still keep it huh? ![]() #01 The classic one and the lousy one. The one on the left is the older one (still under MBF, haha) which is also the one with better quality compared to the newer one on the right. Juniors, how does the record book looks like now? ![]() #02 Have you juniors even saw or used this before? The hard cover one. It looks like the longer version of passport. Okay, let's see what is inside of my record books. Haha. Firstly, the primary's. ![]() #03 I looked so innocent and sad :( but cute. HAHAHAHA. Anyways, I was the 1170th student in SSG okay! I know its now called Sri Garden Kuala Lumpur but during my era it was SSG. So, to me its still SSG ♥ ![]() #04 The classes I've been in. The names of classes used to be named after flowers. A for Azelea, B for Begonia, C for Canna, D for Dahlia, E for.... Forgotten! Haha. These names were then changed to S,G,A,R,D,E,N which stands for Sri Garden in short in the year of 2000. Alah, for the first time I dropped to the 3rd class (Primary 1-3 wasnt counted! We were categorized based on results starting from Primary4!). Luckily it wasnt 6C. It sounded a bit wrong ;p ![]() #05 Imagine how petite was I at the age of 8. ![]() #06 Still was very tiny at the age of 12 :( ![]() #07 Now, the secondary's record book. The classes I've been in. The names of classes were still in S,G,A,R,D,E,N's system until Form4. Then, it was categorized with numbers. During the last year of schooling, the school made a not-so-good decision to categorize the classes according to the teachers' names. Mine was 5scK. K stands for Khoo Boo Guan. Haha. The idea only lasted for one year I think. It was changed back to normal on the following year. Haha. I remember there was 5scMa. So funny. Ma stands for Mabel. HAHAHA. ![]() #08 Fuiyoh. For the first time in my life (when I was 13), I failed a subject. I hate history :( ![]() #09 Then, there was more red marks :( This was form4. HAHAHA. ![]() #10 THE WORST RESULT I'VE GOTTEN IN MY WHOLE LIFE. I THINK THIS PAGE DOES NOT BELONG TO ME. I THINK THE TEACHER MADE A MISTAKE. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I FLIPPED AND SAW THIS PAGE. HOW CAN THIS BE? Look at my chemistry man. It was only 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've got only 50 for maths?!?!?!?!!? BIG SHIT. This was form4 too :( :( I want to bang my head to the wall now. ![]() #11 On the following year of Form 5, the results were much better. I think I must have gotten the lesson in form4 to study better. Hahaha. And you see, I scored the highest for English in my class. Haha. Just realized that ;p It was really good but not anymore I guess. And I dropped Accounts. That isnt my result. I hate Accounts. ![]() #12 And oh, in the same folder that I kept my books, I found a pile of certificates. This was UPSR. Haha. ![]() #13 Look at my SPM's forecast! Hahaha. It looked so good compared to the real SPM certificate! HAHAHA. I forced En. Adenan, the Chemistry teacher to give me an A. HAHAHA. And Miss Geetha, the add math teacher forced me to hand up ALL her homeworks which I did not complete in order to get my forecast. She said she'll leave it blank if we dont hand up her homeworks. HAHAHA. None of us handed up (Okay, some did. Less than 10 students) and she gave us 7D. HAHAHA. ![]() But I scored a credit for it in SPM ;p And I did badly in Art. I wasnt happy at all. I had only 4B! LIKE WTH! The reason was because my project went out of topic! ^%$!&%?! But when I proposed and handed it up, my teacher said it was alright............... WHAT A WASTE! :( I was always the top scorer of Art in my class. Was damn confident one lor, but not anymore :( You see, I improved my History. In college level, I've got an A :D Hehe. Damn happy. Are these certificate still important?! I think I threw my PMR's one away. HAHAHA. I was really upset with it I guess. I remember I had PTS too and the results was TAK LAYAK. Haha. If I remembered correctly, there was only 3 or 4 students who scored LAYAK in my batch. And only one student choosed to skip Primary4. Ooh, those were the days. Because its a new year!
![]() #01 My mama and I. Picture taken about 2 hours ago before I blog this! Happy 2009! :) Have a great year ahead people. *Continued!* Yeah as you can see from the picture above, I spent my New Year's eve with my mum and some childhood kakis at Pavilion KL. The 35 of us spent hours for dinner at Tony Roma's then headed to the entrance of the mall for the countdown. ![]() #02 The evil cows conquering the tiny mouse. Haha. And we practically did nothing while waiting for the countdown. Just plain staring at the people who got so high, dancing and jumping around in front of the entrance with the loud techno music playing through the whole night. As the deejay announced that we are 5 minutes to 2009, everyone got even high. I prepared my camera with all the settings to snap the picture of the fireworks. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3....... 2.......... 1........... Happy New Year!!! ![]() #03 But there isnt any sign of fireworks. Only endless confetti :( Damn disappointing. Sigh. Not long later, we headed home. And guess where we went the next day? Thean Hou temple! ![]() #04 All of the sudden, my mum said she wants to go there. It was cloudy, drizzling and crowded. Not really comfortable. ![]() #05 The Thean Hou temple. ![]() #06 And colourful windmills are everywhere in the temple! :) ![]() #07 I also ate on of my favourite snack, the dragon beard candy. It was very fresh and yummy! :) ![]() #08 The crowd in the temple. ![]() #09 My mama went to pray for those tilikan stick thingy. I dont know what is it called. In these 12 months...
*this is a must post entry at every year end!* 01. I saw Jay twice. Because he came twice to Malaysia early this year. Firstly, he had a promotional tour for this movie, Kung Fu Dunk, then he held his world tour concert here too! The promotional tour was just a so-so event because it was really tiring chasing him from noon to night, cause he had two sessions. Wahlau. Damn tired. His concert was far better. Muahahaha because I do not need to pack myself in the crowd with the rest of the people. I get to sit down comfortably and see Jay with nothing in front to block my view! Woohoo! And yes, you need to pay a BIG sum for that enjoyment. Keke. # # # # 02. I traveled to Taiwan. The country that I always wanted to go, and I still want to go. Bi, let's go together. I miss the food there. Hehehe. It was a really really nice country that has GOOD FOOD. Almost everything there taste good. From snacks at the road side to food at the night market. And they have the best Oh Ah Mee Sua ever! Seriously, now I know why one of my friend gained so much weight after being in Taiwan just a couple of months. I dint stop eating when I was there too. Really! And also the pretty clothes there. Oh my! *Drools* # # # # 03. I had a brand new laptop, Donut! This time, its for real! I've got a brand new laptop ever since god knows when. Perhaps after 5 years of using a big fat old laptop and also a second hand mini laptop? I am loving my laptop now. And its also a gift from my aunt! Thank you! # 04. I started an online business with my girls. Hahaha. It was fun! We totally love the time we spent to shop, photo taking and picture editing. We even opened a booth once in college! Although we do not update as often as other blog shops do, cause we banyak busy, but do remember to drop by! My readers get discounts! ;p Click here and shop now! 05. I graduated... ... And received my diploma! Kekekeke. After 2.5 years, I finally finished my course, Mass Communication majoring Advertising in Taylor's College. Although my results arent as outstanding as some of my coursemates, ekhem, but I'm very satisfied with it already! Hahaha. I thought I might not do this well one lor. And I really miss you guys, peeps from college. Sigh. Pook Mei Yan, you still owe me a gathering. # 06. I found a job! And still working in the same thing. Dont ask me what is it. You know I'll answer you, "I'm a secret agent!" or "I'm a housewife now!" Hahaha. I'll disclose it VERY soon, I hope :) Have been working since I finished classes on late May till now. 07. Sadly, I lost 2 family members in a row. First, my uncle passed away. He was very healthy and hardworking all these while. All of the sudden, he fell sick early this year. He stopped working. Everything went worst and he stopped breathing this August. Then, my dearest grandpa. Same, he was healthy all these while till last year, we found out he had cancer. It was unacceptable. Till today, sometimes I still think that he is around, I want to call him over just to look after me and my brother as usual when our mum are out in town. I still want to eat his curry cooking. I miss you grandpa. Rest in peace. I'll always remember you. We'll stay strong :) 08. I've attended 3 major parties held by Nuffnang. I missed their first birthday bash as it clashed with my Taiwan trip. But never, the other three, Nuffnang Wild "Live" Blogging Party, Nuffnang's Silent Halloween Party and Nuffnang Christmas Party were very very fun too! I enjoyed myself. Honestly, I did not attend such parties before I joined Nuffnang *shy* Love the theme they had but deep inside I wish in the future, there would be a Fairytale theme. Keke. I want to be a princess :) # # # 09. I had another camera. Wow. I had a huge surprise during my birthday this year. My friends got me a brand new Canon Powershot E1. White colour, my favourite colour somemore. It was really a unforgettable one. I love surprises and this surprise was really an unexpected one! Oh my. Thank you my friends :) # # |

We are happy family :)
*pictures for the last three days with my family!* Day 01 : 3rd December 2008 @ Nilai The next day after the whole family traveled from Singapore to KL, we drove all the way to Xiao En, Nilai to visit our great grandma, grandpa and uncle. It was my grandpa's 100th day (after leaving) as well. It was a emo trip but I guess everyone just held back their emotions :( Anyways, I think their "new" place is a great place. Although they are now "staying" very far apart from us, I'm pretty relieved to see that their new place is so nice, peaceful and comforting. I dint take any pictures of the place because at first I was afraid that it might be rude to do so. But later, I was asked to take pictures of the process of praying and stuffs. ![]() #01 My mum and grand aunt with my other aunts behind, preparing "hell money" for them. ![]() #02 The shoe we burnt for him. ![]() #03 Burning... ![]() #04 The food we brought over for them. My great grandma's favourite was the combination of durian and rice. Day 02 : 4th December 2008 @ Mid Valley For the first time in my life of being 20, I went shopping with almost my whole family. Which included 7 kids, grandma, 3 moms and 3 dads. Hahaha. I felt like a tourist ;p ![]() #09 The kids and the xmas decoration in Mid Valley. And that's my new hairdo :) 3 inches chopped, dyed and changed the hair parting. Jay Chou went there twice or thrice I think. Hehe. I remember the last time I saw a celeb appearing there was a about two years ago, he was Samuel Hung's son, Hung Tin Ming. And today, I saw four celebrities. I dont know why most of my family members, and also the workers there saw only 2 or 3. Apalah! I saw four of them and they are the casts of the current drama I'm watching; The Gem of Life. I felt weird again. I thought I was watching the drama for a second. Hahahaha. ![]() These four! Bowie, Bosco, Maggie and Kenny. Fuiyoh. They were wearing like their characters in the show too, the rich and the famous theme weh. But anyways, we saw them entering the VIP room, passing by us and we also waiting for them to come out about 2 hours later (to kill some time while waiting for the bus back to Singapore for my relatives at the same time). Smart yo! And there wasnt many people left when they came out, so we thought maybe we could request for some photos but ish, the guard were like, "No time, no time! In a hurry". But only one picture also cannot meh :( My mum was disappointed. Anyway, this is a video, a very short one capturing them leaving the restaurant. See my mum getting excited!
